A HMI is the user interface that connects an operator to be controller for an industrial system. An HMI includes electronic components for signaling and controlling automation system.
Some HMI also translate data from industrial control system into human- readable visual representations of the system. HMI are usually deployed on window- based machines, communicating with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and other industrial controllers.
